CYCLIST STRUCK IN HIT AND RUN CRASH
   Surveillance Footage of Striking Vehicle

The Ridley Park Police are investigating a hit and run of a bicyclist that occurred on Monday April 21st, 2014 at approximately 2250 hours in the Unit Block of W. Chester Pike. The vehicle was described as an older model, possibly a 1997-2003 Ford F-150, with moderate front end damage. Recovered at the scene was a piece of a "LUND" bug deflector, from the right front of the striking vehicle. The vehicle was traveling west on Chester Pike and turn south on Sellers Ave., after striking the bicyclist. The victim is an 18 yo male, who was last listed in critical condition at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Surveillance video was obtained from a residence near the crash scene. At 22:58:38 you will see the possible striking vehicle passing another vehicle. The crash scene is just out of the range of the camera. This video is prior to the crash. The victim, Christopher BROOKS, 18 years of age is listed in serious condition.
