******************UPDATE****************** An arrest has been made in this case of a 12 year old juvenile. The Ridley Park Police received information from the Ridley School District of information that a student threatened to bring a gun into the Ridley Middle School on Tuesday 1/29/2013, and was mentioned on Facebook. This threat is being investigated by Ridley Park Police and the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division. This threat has been deemed unsubstantiated, however the Ridley Park Police will be at the school on Tuesday and along with the School District will monitor all activity at the school throughout the day. At this time we have no further information. Anyone with information about this very serious situation is asked to contact the Ridley Park Police immediately.
