Three Darby men are in custody after they committed a robbery at the Frankilin Mint Credit Union in Taylor Hospital. Police were dispatched on June 6th. at 12:31 p.m. for a hold up alarm. As they responded they were updated that it was a confirmed robbery. While searching the area police were told of 3 black males fleeing the area. A description was put out over police radio and the vehicle was stopped by Tinicum Police. A search warrant was obtained by Investigator John Morris and all the money taken was recovered. Rahim Hamm, 20 from the 600 block of Pine, Lyrell Thompson, 24, from the 600 block of Colwyn, and Christon Vann, 22 from the 200 block of Greenway Ave. were charged. All are in Delaware County Prison and will be having a hearing on July 9th. before Judge Jack Lippart. Ridley Park Officers Bacelli, Morris and Corsi responded to the robbery. Tinicum Officer Sean Ryan made the stop on the vehicle and Ridley Township, Eddystone, Prospect Park, Norwood and Glenolden assisted with the search.
