1. How can I obtain a police report..?

Police Incident and Accident reports are available Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Each report is $25.00.

All reports are released at the discretion of the Chief of Police.

Ridley Park Police Department accepts cash or money orders only. Sorry no credit cards.

2. What phone number do I call to see a police officer..?

In Delaware County any calls for service Emergency or Non-Emergency you are to dial 911.

Do not call the police station if you need to see a police officer, only call for administrative purposes.

3. What do I do if I get a parking tickets..?

If you receive a parking ticket for a meter violations, you may pay it within 24 hours to receive the discounted rate of $5.00. Otherwise the ticket will be $15.00. All other parking violations are face value, and can be mailed in or paid in person at the Police Station, 230 W. Chester Pike.

If a parking ticket is not paid promptly, then it may result in a citation being issued for the violation. In that case additional fines and court cost are assessed. If you receive a citation in the mail, you must pay the ticket at district court or request a hearing.

4. Will your department fingerprint me for a job I am applying for..?

Yes. Fingerprinting can be done between the hours of 10am-3pm Monday-Friday. You must call ahead of time to make an appointment with the office staff. The fingerprinting fee if $15.00. Please bring the application fingerprint card, and a state picture ID.
