Three persons were charged with Disorderly Conduct and public drunkenness after a fight in the 200 block of Henderson Ave.. Police were dispatched for a fight and possible stabbing on March 2nd. at 12:38 a.m.. Taken into custody was Adam Vanskiver, 35 from the 2600 block of Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, and Everett Steinbrownn, 21 from the 8600 block of Rose Ln., Philadelphia, PA.. Both were intoxicated and transported to Ridley Park Headquarters and detained for six hours. Patricia Schloss, 35 from the 200 block of Henderson Ave. was also cited. Police are investigating four cars that were entered overnight on March 2nd. Three, in the 200 block of Henderson Ave., and one in the 400 block of Chestnut Street. All cars were unlocked. Missing from one vehicle is a white I-Pod, and several CD's. Anyone with information is asked to call Chief Tom Byrne at 610-362-7401.
A 71 year old from Myrtle Beach, S.C. was transported to Taylor Hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries after a two car crash at N.Swarthmore and Ward Ave. on March 3rd. at 6:35 p.m.. The operator from S.C. was heading south on N.Swarthmore when another vehicle attempted to make a left onto Swarthmore from Ward, and struck the southbound vehicle. No charges were filed.
